We thank the author for taking interest in our case series reporting tin-tack sign in cutaneous leishmaniasis[1] and making us aware of similar articles published in the literature in the past.[2],[3],[4] However, the author has pointed out that the articles are not accessible in PubMed.

While preparing the manuscript, we conducted a detailed literature survey to identify any study describing the occurrence of tin-tack sign in cutaneous leishmaniasis. Our search engines included PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar, IndMED, Scopus, ISI Web of Science, and Cochrane CENTRAL from inception to the search date. However, we could not find any of these publications in our searches. Moreover, after receiving the comments from the author, we were able to access only one of the three articles.[4] The sign described in the article published by us was to the best of our knowledge not reported in the literature previously. We thank the author for rectifying the same.
