ABSTRACT: A case of idiopathic striae distensae (ISD) is presented. The patient was a healthy young adult with no history of weight lifting, use of systemic or local corticosteroids, infections or trauma. Horizontally disposed striae were located on the abdomen, back and legs. To the best of our knowledge this is the first report case of ISD where idiopathic striae were present below the knees.
